Homeless Children Plan Now Ready to Roll

We've mentioned our plan to rehouse homeless children several times on this blog. Well, now it's ready.

It's taken almost 18-months, but we finally have a viable, achievable plan that can give every homeless parent with young children a new roof, and the chance to give those children a far better future.

We've faced quite a few problems in defining how the plan should work so it will help as many people as we can find, and now there's a new one - Letting them know it's ready.

We've contacted shelters and posted notices on social media, but the feedback has been modest. If you know a family in need, or have a friend who works at a Shelter, please pass the word. With some cooperation from the Banks and the Shelters we can help every family who needs it.

Crowdfunding Plan seeks Social Media Wiz...

As you guys know, we've been trying to find a partner for the homeless children project for over six months. We've just been let down by yet another who claimed they had both the money and the interest...then disappeared.

This is clearly not tolerable. Every day we spend searching for the means, 2.7-million children remain trapped in shelters from which they have little chance of a short-term escape. Our project will give them both an exit and a complete education, so we can't waste any more time.

To avoid going in circles with more alleged partners, we're going to create the seed funds through a Crowdfunding raise. It seems to be the only way to raise both the funds and awareness of the project.

Here's the snag: We've never done a Crowdfunder before and have no clear idea how one is done. If anyone has, or knows of such a being we'd love to meet them. It's a paid gig. We especially need help with the social media aspect. It's a crucial element of any raise, so we can't make mistakes.

Homeless Children Project

In January of this year, 22,712 children under the age of ten slept in homeless shelters. Just in New York. Nationally, the number is nearly 3-million.

We are going to give those children a way out of this unwarranted misery and provide them with a new home, from which they can gain the education they need to build the life and the future they have little chance of seeing if nothing is done.

To us the solution is clear: The Banks currently hold over 3-million foreclosed homes. We are going to purchase those homes and donate them to Shelters and homelessness-related Non-profits. Their staff will then help clients with children to move in and get their lives back.

There is no cost to the Shelters, the parents or anyone who helps them.

It gets better: While the project can help thousands of people it will not cost the taxpayers a dime. Quite the reverse; Even if we only reached half of the 2.76-million children now in Shelters and their parents only got minimum-wage jobs, the nation would still gain over $5-billion in new revenue from their taxes in the first two years alone.

But the benefits to the children are the biggest motive, and those should be huge.

We believe this project is among the most formative investments in childhood any organization could ever attempt; Children are the very fabric of this nation's future, and to believe they could fulfill this pivotal destiny without a decent education or the emotional stability of a home of their own is both irrational and unsupported by all current research.

A solution, even one that might sound as 'left-field' as this, is desperately needed. It will turn hundreds of untended eyesores into clean, well-kept homes filled with children whose lives have finally regained their potential.

And we believe such proactive support of those who must eventually inherit this land is both an imperative task and our communal duty.

Bankers and Real Estate Experts - You can Help

Our project to rescue and rehouse homeless children is finally making some progress. The project can save as many children as we can find, but we need Banks and Real Estate experts to help us find the homes.

 

If that's your line of work, we should talk. We can buy as many clean, marketable homes as a Bank can provide, but we have no direct sources. Yet. If you can change that and help some great kids get a home of their own at last, let's work on the details and get this done.

Help Us Save Homeless Children

We're a non-profit with a plan to rescue and rehouse the 2.8-million children now trapped in homeless shelters across the US.

The project is viable, ethical and can save every child we can find, it will not cost them or the taxpayers a dime, and it will not only help resolve the foreclosure crisis, it will add more than $5-billion to this nation's economy in the first two years alone.

We are offering a strong income for no work and no cash investment, and a partner's funding is even insured by the Bank; Yet all we can find are avaricious, unfeeling ingrates who couldn’t be concerned by these children’s predicament if they were lined up before them on fire.

If something is not done to resolve this injustice a large portion of those who are this nation’s future will have their entire lives and potential constricted by an education so superficial it would be challenged by a career in food service.

And for reasons that conspire to evade us, a large number of seemingly sentient beings have no apparent issue with that.

We've faced endless frustrations for almost a year. We’d now welcome suggestions on how to achieve progress and rescue thousands of great children from such undeserved pain.

If You're Homeless with Children, Read This...

If you are, or know someone who's homeless and has children, we want to help you escape the shelters and build your life again.

Over the last 18-months we've developed a system to give homeless people and their children a home of their own so they can get a new start. We opened a Crowd-funding project to create the seed funds, but in almost six weeks it raised less than $1500.

That made it pretty clear that the people who have homes couldn't care less about those who don't, so we now want to talk to those who truly understand the pain of being homeless and want it to stop as much as we do.

The plan is simple: We're going to buy foreclosed homes from the banks, clean them up, then donate them to Homeless Shelters all over the country so their clients with children can move in and restart their lives.

And you won't get stuck with a mortgage; If you're chosen by your Shelter, you own the house. You can then make it your home.

People tell us this is the most ridiculous, expensive and crazy idea any Non-Profit ever had. We say it will give thousands of people their lives back, and help those who are this nation's very future get the well-rounded education they deserve. And that's not so dumb.
